Electric Vehicle Direct Current Fast Charging Energy-Based Rate

FortisBC Inc. (FBC) is seeking BCUC approval of amendments to Rate Schedule 96 to replace the current time-based electric vehicle charging rates with an energy-based rate of $0.42 per kWh for service at FBC-owned 50 kW and 100 kW charging stations and to introduce an idling charge of $0.40 per minute.
