On February 12, 2025, BC Hydro filed an application with the BCUC pursuant to section 71 of the UCA for acceptance of ten electricity purchase agreements with the successful proponents of BC Hydro’s 2024 call to acquire clean or renewable electricity from greenfield generating facilities in BC.
