Glencore Canada Exemption under Section 88(3) of the UCA

On October 18, 2024, Glencore Canada Corporation filed an application with the BCUC pursuant to section 88(3) of the UCA. Glencore seeks an exemption from BCUC regulation under Part 3 of the UCA, as well as an exemption for Glencore and Brenda Renewables Ltd. from section 71 of the UCA with respect to the sale of electricity from Glencore’s Brenda Mine Substation to Brenda Renewables.
